Amy Gimma is an epidemiologist with a career path that has spanned clinical experience, private health technology, academic research, and international operational support. She aims to use her skills to address pressing public health questions, with a particular interest in improving the quality of delivery, addressing health inequalities, and ensuring the responsible and transparent use of sensitive health data.

Amy’s background as a nurse informs her approach to research, grounding her analytical work in a practical understanding of patient care, clinical systems, and frontline healthcare delivery. This perspective supports her focus on producing evidence that is both methodologically rigorous and directly relevant to real-world practice.

She contributed to executive-level decision-making across product development, governance, and operations, and established data security frameworks to meet audited standards.
