Lisa Hopcroft
Data Scientist
Lisa Hopcroft is a Data Scientist previously working for the Bennett Institute on OpenSAFELY. Following a BSc in AI and Psychology, Lisa’s postgraduate studies (MRes, PhD) focussed on applied computing in biomedical research. Her post-doctoral work sought to elucidate insight from high-dimensional and complex transcriptomic data in leukaemia. Before joining the OpenSAFELY team at The Data Lab, Lisa was a Principal Information Analyst at Public Health Scotland, working on phase I-III clinical trials and on the COVID-19 in Pregnancy in Scotland (COPS) project.
